Florian Braakman (Velp, 1988), a Rotterdam-based photographer, focuses on themes of home and migration. Braakman's work, blending documentary and artistic elements, creates a sense of community across borders.

He holds a BA in Photography from the Royal Academy of Arts (KABK) The Hague, NL (2013).

His work has been exhibited at Foam Museum, Amsterdam NL (2024), Jakarta International Photo Festival, ID (2023), Stedelijk Museum Schiedam, NL (2023), Nederlands Fotomuseum, Rotterdam, NL (2022), Museum IJsselstein, NL (2022), a.o. He was selected as one of the twenty artists for Foam Talent 2024-2025.
