Anna Moreno (Barcelona, 1984) is a visual artist and researcher living between The Hague and Barcelona.
In 2020 she completed her one-year residency at the Jan Van Eyck Academie in Maastricht. Moreno's work has been exhibited internationally at HIAP Helsinki, Centro Botín (Santander), MOCAB (Belgrade), SAS Geumcheon (Seoul), Joan Miró Foundation (Barcelona), and she has lectured at MOMA San Francisco, the University of Barcelona and the University of Applied Arts Vienna, among others.
She publishes essays on art, politics and architecture, and is currently writing her first science fiction novel, Billennium, to be published by Archive Books (Berlin). She is also working on "The 60 Minute Zoom", her first feature film, to be released in 2022. Protagonised by Clara Segura and Francesc Orella, the film is co-produced by Claudio Zulián (Acteon Films, Barcelona).
She has received support by Mondriaan Fonds, Stroom Den Haag, Amarte Fonds, Fonds Kwadraat, Stichting Stokroos and Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds, among others.
